Job Context

• To ensure category-wise cost-effective raw material unloading and stoking.
• Ensuring the minimum stock level of raw materials.  
• Collaborated with supply chain inventory planner on implementing new stock demand with increasing production.
• Identified a new unloading solution which led to a demurrage reduction of 20% of total incoming raw materials.
• Responsible for quality raw materials unloading with minimum cost.
• To ensure FIFO method in vessel unloading.
• Responsible for monthly raw materials inventory.
• Oversaw routing, timing, shipping, securing, and precision of every shipment leaving the facility.   
• To contact the master of the lighter vessel for the loading & arrival information of the factory site
• To arrange unloading on the jetty by coordinating between the cargo vessels which are located and arriving at the Ghats.
• If there is any obstruction during unloading, discuss it with the concerned department and get an immediate solution.
• To unload the running period shift the vessel one to two times as per the requirement of the production department for swift unloading.
• The WTC ship’s free day is calculated and unloaded in combination with the Mariners ship, so as not to pay for Demurrage on the WTC ship.
• Responsible for completing the raw material inventory work monthly & yearly done by me & also facing external audits & SGS inventory.
• Raw material stock reconciliation every month after inventory with Store & others department.
• Preliminary survey quantity report individually lighter vessel as per Mother Vessel at our factory side done by me.
